A community initiative

Beauty made by careful hands,
carried to those who need it.

Flowers with Purpose invites assisted-living residents into guided floral workshops. Their arrangements are sold to the community, and every dollar raised funds wheelchairs, mobility aids and daily essentials for seniors in lower-income care facilities.

Our mission

Purpose, arranged by hand.

Loneliness is one of the quietest health crises facing older adults. Flowers with Purpose answers it with something deeply human: the act of making, the joy of giving, the dignity of being needed.

Every bouquet our residents create is sold to neighbors, local businesses and event partners. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to lower-income assisted-living facilities — funding wheelchairs, walkers, hygiene products and the small comforts that are too often missing.

How it works

A simple rhythm of gathering, making and giving.

01

We gather

A trained facilitator brings fresh, seasonal stems into an assisted-living community. The table is set with linen, shears and quiet music.

02

Residents create

Over ninety unhurried minutes, residents arrange their own bouquets — guided just enough, free to make their own choices.

03

Proceeds give back

Arrangements are sold to the community. Every dollar raised funds wheelchairs, mobility aids and essentials for seniors in lower-income facilities.

Community impact

Seniors helping seniors — a quiet, radical idea.

Our residents arrange. Our community buys. And seniors in under-resourced facilities receive the wheelchairs, supplies and everyday dignity they've been going without. The flowers are only the beginning — what travels furthest is the support they fund.
